Abstract
Distinguishing the relative contributions of pulmonary vascular resistance and intracardiac shunts to elevated right-heart pressures in infants remains challenging when relying on clinical assessment and echocardiography. We describe our initial experience implementing cardiac MRI to measure Qp:Qs non-invasively using no, minimal, or baseline sedation in infants with possible pulmonary hypertension.
